Keith Mercer

Hi there !

Thank you for stopping by our website and looking around a bit.  

Let me introduce myself. My name is Keith Mercer, and I am a devoted follower of Jesus the Christ, not to mention a husband to my wife Shelly and father to Marick.  My wife and I live on the old home place (so to speak) near Chatfield.

I am what they call in the Methodist Church a licensed local pastor. Way back in 2003, upon waiting to hear test results of what soon turned out to be cancer., I was reading Psalm 23, I heard a soft gentle voice say to me "What part of this don't you understand? Come work for me". Considering the fact that there was no one else in the hospital room with me, I took that as a sign, of one which I do not regret hearing and listening to. I then started to pursue my Ministry calling. I've been actively involved in either part-time or full-time Ministry since 2006; a life choice I'm very thankful for.

My preaching style is of the fact I'm a born and raised farm boy. I preach with a country flare. As a matter of fact, I preach the Gospel as it's written. I do not add to or detract from what is the spoken word of God.
